I recently purchased new memory for my pc...is it fairly easy to install? will I have to download anything? Help would be appreciated.

Very easy. As long as you bought the right type and your motherboard can support the amount what you want to put in. There is SD (old and rare now), DDR (fairly common now), and DDR2 (common in high end new systems).

No software needed.

yes it is and no u dnt need any software the pc will use its plug and play function so it detects it like a mouse
