For two triangles to be similar, they have to have the same angles and their sides have to have the same ratios to each other. Imagine taking a triangle and simply enlarging or shrinking it. Those triangles would be similar.
Sooo...you could have an isoceles with an obtuse angle where the equal sides meet, or you could have an acute angle where the two equal sides meet, or a 90 degree angle for that matter!
Imagine making different angles with two equal toothpicks and filling in the third side with an imaginary line. They would all be isosceles, but not similar.

Imagine that you are making an isoceles triangle out of two metersticks that you hold against the floor -- the floor is the third side.
Hold the ends of the metersticks up pretty high with their ends together at the top and about 10 cm apart at the bottom. That's one isosceles triangle.
Now hold the ends of the metersticks down pretty low with their ends together at the top and far apart at the bottom. That's a second isosceles triangle.
They are not similar.

no, an isoceles triangle means 2 of the sides are equal. For example draw a triangle. Make one of the sides 4 and the other two sides both 6. Then compare it to a bigger triangle with one of the sides 16 and the other two sides 9. They are both isoceles but most of the time not equal.

No. With any triangles, all interior angles sum to 180, and the isoceles has two that are the same. You could have 80, 80, 20, or you could have 70, 70, 40. THese are not similar. All equilateral triangles are similar, because they're all 60, 60, 60.

No. If the angles of the trianges are the same, they are similar, but if two isoceles triangles have different angles, this means that the the measurements of the sides of the triangle won't be porportional

no, if one isosceles triangle has sides of 10, 10, 4 and the other is 15, 15, 8 then there not proportional....15/10 doesnt equal 8/4.....ya idiot, i should shank your jawnspiece.

No because this is the if you look at it you see that some sides are longer and then the base does not have a pattern to show if similar.

NO! isosceles means at least two congruent sides.
an isoscelels with two congruent sides and a equilateral are both isosceles tringles but they are not similar
