Mite be an installation problem try reinstalling... also it mite be conflicting with another program if it is neither try the browers help options... ps u need to be more specific wat browser?

Please add details to your question. Which second browser? What is the "it" that freezes up constantly - the second browser, or your laptop?

It seems worth asking because, in my case, I have two versions of three browsers, and three versions of two others, and one version of each of three more, with no ill effects...
