If you get something painted on your ride professionally you have to show them a reference of what you want. But can you so them a object such as a stuff animal and they can change the colors and some of the format by you telling them what you want OR does the reference have to be exactly like what you want.

I would think you have to give your approval of the design for them to do it. If they do it and you don't like it, then it's a hassle, and they did the work for free. If you approve it and they do it, and you don't like it then you have to pay them and then pay them again to redo it. Good luck
