Congress approval has risen 15% since the Democrats have taken office, surpassing even the President. Are the major networks reporting the news from a biased perspective because the majority of the American people seem to want our troops out of Iraq and want a timetable for return?

Do you think that makes newscasters so outraged that they present their own points of view. The 3 front runners for the democratic nomination have declined to attend a debate sponsored by FOX News. Do you think they feel like they have to stand up for the President becuase other networks greatly criicize the President's policies regarding Iraq?

Please keep it civil.

I can honestly say that the news media only reports what they are told. You have no idea how many times I've been watching the news while talkig to my fiancee and the stories are completely different about what happened in Iraq (he's there now). So I don't believe most of what I hear unless it's from him.

The media is one of the most powerful forces in America. They can sway Americans one way or the other by the reporting they do. Who said the war in Iraq is going badly? We only hear what the media wants us to know. If the powers-that-be at CNN are anti-Bush then we will never hear anything good about the war or Bush's efforts as a president. If those same powers are pro-Hillary, then we will hear them sing their praises of her and her beliefs. (By the way, Hillary was pro-war until it got tough and then she changed her mind.) What a wimp. The media has entirely too much control over the beliefs of the people. It's time we start thinking for ourselves and not what we are fed on a daily basis from a truly biased institution.

The news media is biased period. Take the anti-war demonstration that occurred in Washington, DC on March 17, 2007. The media covered ONLY the anti-war protesters and did not accurately cover or represent the opposition to the anti-war protesters... named the Gathering of Eagles. http://www.gatheringofeagles.org/ The Gathering of Eagles slightly outnumbered the anti-war protesters. Why wasn't this covered accurately?

The war is going much better than any news agency will show...The derive their $$$$$ from advertiser and advertisers place ads on tv when people are watching...Blod & Guts , negative & controversial thing cause po\eople to wacth.
If the good things were shown, people would lose interest and the Media loses $$$$$$ ( See my Links) News show would bore people if they showed , new schools, new roads, new hospitals, friendly interactions etc

Libs won't debate, simply because they are wrong on all counts and will be proven so...No debate..less face lost

They want to decline because Fox wants them to support Bush? Don't these candidates have their own views, that we should hear?

They are declining because they don't want to answer the hard questions. With all the soft ball questions from the major media can we blame them?

I think most of the news is gov. sanctioned anyways. I wonder if any truth comes out at all anymore.
