I need to contruct a pie chart to represent the cell cycle.
color each of the 3 major components a diff. color and indicate subphases (ie. G1, S, and G2, ; PMAT) where necessary.

What exactly is it asking me to do?
Think it matters wether i do mitosis or meiosis?
Not very good with G1-, S, and G2 so I'm not even sure which one they are in. . Anything helps me in this case.
Thanks!

and you at least know a free download (perhaps a trial version) that actually lets me 'create and save' a full pie chart' without having to buy it because I'll only need it this one time otherwise I draw but teachers rules=computer only)

You want to make a chart that shows how much time is involved in each of these stages. You can see one here to use as an example:

and here:

This second chart looks more like the right proportions of time. If your teacher gave you the amount of time for each stage, you'll have to make your pie chart match those numbers.

all you have to do is draw a circle and divide it into 4 or 5 sections and label the sections (g1, s, g2, mitosis, cytokinesis) in the proper order.

the portion of the "pie" that's G1, G2 etc. depends on a) the cell you are looking at and b) the organism whose cell you are looking at. for example, humans typically have a long G2 while baker's yeast typically has a very short g2. it's so short that some researchers think it doesn't have G2 at all but goes straight into mitosis after S phase.

you can make a pie chart using any spreadsheet software (like microsoft excel)

In G1 - multiple metabolic interest in coaching for right here DNA synthesis in S - section. Orhganelles ought to favor to be produced, proteins ought to favor to be made, ATP would favor to be made etc.
