I started ortho lo sunday. In the insert it says 2 wait 7 days before having unprotected sex, but I have heard some ppl say wait 1 month. Has anyone done this after 7 days and not gotten prego?

My doctor told me that if you start the first Sunday on, or after your period, that the pill is effective immediately. He said if you start any other time in your cycle to wait 30 days.

better to be safe then sorry. i'd wait a month for unprotected. but use a condom afte 7 days just to be safe!

just to be on the safe side, stick with the month plan, or just use a condom as well. pill+condom is the best bet, but if you want to just use the pill, wait a month.
