im leaning towards wells because he provides SB and he is hot, while manny is cold and last year it seemed he gave up near the end of the seasons. Its a H2H league with 10 teams

If you need stolen bases then make the Wells deal...Manny wont steal candy from a kid...never mind swiping a base. But if you need power, RBI and BA then Ramirez is your man. Wells is good....Manny is great (he had better power numbers than Wells every year they've been in the league....last year he had better overall numbers in 24 less games). Never mind who is hot or cold....it has been 1 week of for real baseball. Ramirez will be fine this year....the pitching is better and they will be in it until the end and Manny is a competitor. So figure out if you need SB or BA and slightly better power numbers....then you will know who you need worse. I am assuming you have a quality SS to replace Tejada because if you dont then neither deal is a good one....Tejada is a top 5 SS and after the top 7 or 8 the remaining guys are not good H2H fantasy options and you will get your butt kicked by everyones SS (not worth it).

hot or cold doesnt really matter because they will heat up at some point. but yea wells gives the SBs that manny does. both can hit HRs and drive in a lot and score a lot but i think wells is the better overall OFer.

Go with Manny. Manny wont give up this year. They are going back to the playoffs. Wells is on a non playoff team. He wont have as much to play for come end of the year.
