Your child self is always a part of you no matter how sophisticated and worldly-wise you become. It is good to connect with your child self from time to time in order to feel whole as a person. I have changed considerably over the years and not just physically but my child-self has great influence over the man I am today.

I think I've got back to my 'child self' now. Carefree, daredevil, up for anything, but I have had a long Captain Sensible period in between. Started when my first child was born and didn't finish until the last one turned 18. Now divorced the jerk who made me take all the sensible decisions and responsibility and free to be me again. Handing out all the hard-earned wisdom from my youth and having it ignored, just the same way I ignored my parents - at least they're happy.

Good question.I think both,on the one hand I can remember my inner feelings and experiences as a child, but as an adult I can look at my young self as a child and innocent person. Obviously I'm still the same person but through experience have developed into an adult version of that child.

Aha - ze wanderer returns.

Different person - madly in love with Tom Selleck, addicted to smelly rubbers and with no interest whatsoever in boys.

Deep down though, think we all remain the person we've always been - it's just that the details change.

(Real, smelly boys I meant - not handsome hunks with bushy moustaches)

I was a completely different person cuz i always used to be all covered up, never wanting to show my body and i was a total tomboy but now ive learned to love pink and i show alot of skin. well my stomach and boobies but i guess its cuz i grew in to my body...finally. But i still love to play sports and stuff. maybe its cuz we all grow up and mature you know. I like who i am now though so at least im happy.
