A girl is who is preg. and only 13, has been raped, I don't care if she consented or not. Whomever got her pregnant should be prosecuted. What kind of parents (regardless her father being a pastor) does she have, they don't where or who their child is associating with? This is such a sad situation, safe sex, birth control is so available today. Parents do their children (both boys and girls) a horrible disservice by putting their head in the sand, not making sure there is a clear dialog with their children about all aspects of sex and the consequences. Your friend needs a friend more than ever, hopefully she has learned a valuable lesson, sex is not love, only sex.

This is an interesting subject. At least she is able to talk to you, but at some point the parents will have to know. Having a baby is at least a 24 hour stay in the hospital. I can understand being scared to tell your parents, I went through that also but I was 22 years old. I guess the most important thing is for her to seriously think about options and what she wants to do in terms of keeping the baby and adoption. But, sadly young scared mothers who hide the whole pregnancy sometimes do stupid things as a last resort. Please make sure she talks to someone if she feels she can't talk to her parents. You haven't spoken about medical either, so this would be for her safety and the baby's.

If shee is scared about labor, it really dose not matter how old you are. She needs as much as support as possible, but do not take over the job, She will lose that attachment, responsibility to her baby, And to remind her that she needs to take care of herself more than any other woman over the age of 18. Having a baby young can mess up her development as a woman. maybe not right after but later in her 20s'. I had my first at 15, and I now feel it everyday

she's due this month? and now she's scared? she needs to look into adoption ASAP, and try to get her education, which won't be easy if she is a 13 yr old mother. i hope she learned her lesson.
