I've got Brad Lidge on 3 of my teams.m What do you think is going to happen? Should I try to find someone and drop him, or do you think he will be back? He definately has been looking terrible. Problem is I can't find any closers left so my saves are *&^%$@# HELP

If there are no good options available then hang onto him for a while. He likely gets dealt away sooner rather than later and he badly needs a change of scenery....if he lands in another town he may rebound. Remember Francisco Cordero....6 of 15 in save opp. (9 blown saves) in Texas, traded to Brewers and converts 16 of 18. Sometimes thats all it takes. So wait out a deal if you can afford the roster spot short-term, if not then see if anyone else will gamble on him in a trade or cut him loose and pick up whatever you can. Personally I would wait it out if at all possible (I know the Cordero line because I did just that last year....big payoff in the end).

i dont know why you drafted lidge on 3 of your teams, i never even considered drafting him. i dont think he will be back anytime soon. there might be some closers in the waiting that you might be able to pick up. is torres available? wickman? borowski? saito? julio? valverde?maybe you can just trade for one.

I would (I have him too) Stash him to the side and try to pick up a Closer (owens, Wheeler, Dotel) If there are no Closers you may be looking to trade him. Other than that your kinda stuck

drop him. he wont be coming back. this has been going on for the past year and i bet he wont be back. his numbers in relief wont help you either. find a guy like chris ray of the orioles or joe borowski of the indians. i bet theyre free agents. it depends how many teams there are in your league
