I guess he was out of the loop. You know they dont tell him the real info.

Conflict in the Middle East causes all oil prices to rise.

Oil sales and revenues are taxed.

Those taxes pay for some of the war.

I think that's what he really meant.

By the way, the rising oil prices also benefit the oil companies.

Maybe it's the "Trickle Down Effect"? That would explain why once again, we're not feeling it.
