With the Indians, White Sox, Twins, and Tigers all in contention this year, I would have to go with the AL Central.

The NL East is a pretty competitive division, but I would have to give the honor for toughest division to the AL Central. Four of the 5 teams are capable of winning that division. They have the Twins, White Sox, Indians, and Tigers. Those said teams can also vie for a wild card berth in the playoffs. Unless you are the Kansas City Royals each team in the AL Central has hope.

The experts are asserting that the Mets, Phillies, Braves, and Marlins all have a shot on the NL East and that i could agree. With Manny in l. a. now the Dodgers might desire to run away with the West and the crucial may be a 2 way race with the Cubs and taking part in cards. i could say the NL East is the toughest NL branch.

Deffinitly not. The toughest division in baseball is the AL Central. You have the Tigers(06 wild card) Twins(06 AL central) the White Sox(05 champs.) and evne Cleveland has a chance this year. The White Sox won 90 games last year and still didnt make the playoffs.

The AL Central by far. All teams in that division are playoff teams except for the Royals. Some of the best pitching staffs in baseball are in that division as well as the reigning AL MVP. The teams are young and all can pitch and hit.

It has Washington, Florida, and the 1-6 Phillies in it. I would have to say no at this point.
