Well everyone has. I think the Spurs have a good chance having been two-time champions since the Duncan-Ginobili-Parker triumvirate have been established plus the formidable back-up citizens they have there and the great defense in which they have built their team on but hey let's not also discredit Dallas, Suns and Denver in the West and Detroit, Miami and Chicago's chances in the East. I think it all comes down to who wants it more. You know the ball is round and everybody has a chance. I just like the Spurs chances though.

To all the people who say the Mavs have it in the bag. REMEBER DETROIT LAST YEAR? They won 64 games, and did HORRIBLE in the playoffs, they barely got past Cleveland,and Miami outplayed them, so regular season records have very little to do with the playoffs, the Mavs won't win it. And yes, the Spurs have a legitimite chance, but i'm rooting for the Pistons

i think they have a very small chance of winning the title this year. they're third in the west. so, that means both the suns and the mavs are better than them...the spurs don't have their "spark" going on right now...i think the mavs or the suns have the best chance of winning the nba title, at the moment

very good. i actually have them winning and not the mavs or suns. people underestimate SA and never talk about them. the spurs play the best defense in the NBA and they can force a team to play their style of slow paced half court game, but the spurs are athletic enough to play a fast style game too. defense wins championships and SA has the best. they have the experience, they have the talent, and they have the defense, and they have the right coach.
