There have been many great Presidents, as well as some real losers. But, I would definately say that Ronald Reagan was the best President in the past several decades.
He was a great Statesman, leader, and Commander In Chief. His Presidency oversaw the end of the Cold War, he repeatedly showed the entire world that the U.S. would not be backed into a corner and pushed around, and he did more for the economy than any other president of the 20th century.
My fondest memory of Reagan is the way he handled Khadaffi (Libya). If Reagan were in the Oval Office today, he would have the Iraq "MESS" handled and our troops home by the end of the year.
Too bad we don't have anybody like him to elect.

Reagan was okay - I give him credit, and I'm a Democrat. But in the context of history, there were others more popular, more influential, and did more for America. Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and F.D. Roosevelt for sure. You have to give Lincoln the edge - the Cold War was nothing compared to the Civil War.

Modern times, Ronald Reagan.
Historically, Abraham Lincoln.
You really can't compare the two as the times in which they served were so different. One ruled the country while countrymen were killing each other. He helped to guide it to conclusion. The other faced a huge threat straight on and made them blink first.

And you would be correct, sir.
Reagan is by far the best president we've ever had.
The worst... now that's either Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton. It's too close to call.

George.....-Washington. He was the PERFECT president, because he NEVER wanted the job, refused to take "sides" in a fight, and wanted the new country to succeed- because he wanted to be able to go back home & live in Peace and Freedom. :)
