Now what? Does anyone have any suggestions? I mean they were all one length and I just kept cutting, cutting while they were wet and when her hair dried it's about 1/2 inch long.. OMG, I can't stop laughing but she is very angry.

Way to go! You have scarred her for life - I remember when my mom did the same thing for me, the day before class picture day, I mean, WTF were you thinking? Hair gel would be worth a try, spike it or just slick it back, poor girl!

Things happen. Ruining bangs is NOT the end of the world as long as you handle it right. Tell her you're sorry and then take her to pick out some pretty hair clips or headbands the she can use to pull back the short bangs. I also like the idea of spiking the bangs with gel, as it would give her a hip look. In a month or two, they will be back to where they should be. Promise her that the next time her hair needs trimming you will take her to a professional, and keep the promise. And what ever you do, don't laugh at her because you will give her a complex.

your poor child! You are a mean mommy! your daughter may never forgive you...it's bad enough that you ruined her hair, but then you laugh at her..cruel... If I were her, I'd come after you with clippers while you're sleeping..

1 take her to a hairdresser maybe they can fix it
2 put her other hair over the bangs and cover them
3 put the bangs in a clip so they arent annoying to her

That happened to me once. All you can do is let them grow back out, which won't take long.

nothing to do but wait until they grow back in, try to put some small butterfly clips in it to pull them back.

My mom did that to me one time...I hated it but had to go to school and I was embarrassed but I got over it and she will too.
I still to this day don't speak to her. ;) lol jkjk
