sweet cornbread is good, like jiffy cornbread, but not salty cornbread like they got in the south, like at cracker barrel. yuck.

Girl, you gotta be from the south. I didn't know what white bread was til I was 10. But I don't like the sweet cornbread. Folks in the south put salt in the batter, not sugar. In fact, I baked a pone tonight. Want some? Good and hot with butter on it? Yum!

OMG! i loooove cornbread. My dad makes it all the time. Try prune and walnut (it doesnt sound good but it really is) in your cornbread... MMMMMMM YUM! =( now i want some

Yeah but I think that it depends on how its made otherwise you get a bitter or dry one and you could end up not liking it.

That's one of the fried things I do love -We love it with oysters and sweet potatoes and pickles at our oyster roast.I also love it with onions in it to. I love it thin and crispy,not thick and cakey.
