Where IS Betty, Pauline Fowler's dog? I thought Dot and Jim took her in ... or had I fallen asleep out of boredom and missed something? Why write dogs into soaps when they're just going to evaporate within three more episodes? Ian Beale now has an invisible basset hound and Blanche's border terrier in Coronation Street was never seen again. It wouldn't annoy me so much but for the fact that, if there's a dog in a house, it's both seen and heard!

Blanche's dog was returned to its original owner (some biddy from Blanche's 1 o'clock club or something . Not sure)
Ken Barlow should be awarded the hat-stand life achievement award!
What was the story with Pauline Fowler? Was she murdered or what? I would've killed her myself years ago & considering all the murders that have happened in Eastenders, how come no-one didn't bump her off before now?
(I hope Wendy Richard starts sounding a bit more cheerful now she's not playing the miserable, interfering old cow any more) can't stand Eastenders & only ask cos things like this pop up in quizzes etc.

Betty went off with Martin and Sonia in the taxi. I remember thinking she must have been a bit squashed when they kissed.

i never noticed until you mentioned it,but used to get frustrated at blanches dog biting ken,how false was that? kens acting was bad! paulines dog however must be in the urn so therefore dot has taken her in,
