having trouble with conjugates:

6/ 2 - square root of 3

the conjugate is 6/2+sqrt3 and its product is
36/4-3 = 6

The conjugate is for the denominator only and is
2 + sq rt 3. When you multiply, you get
6(2+ sq rt3) /1 or 12 + 6 sq rt 3
