I have a spanish class , which I hate, the language just isn't for me, so far I've only missed 2 days of classes, out of the whole semester, and I really don't want to go tommorow, besides, the homework the professor assigned over the weekend, I don't understand, I want to get it reviewed before I hand it in.

So should I skip it and do other homework? I really don't want to go.

Go to class, just ask your teacher for help to make you understand it better, that is their job. Besides, if you skip and play hooky, you still wouldn't understand it later.

I grew up in imperative West Virginia and feature lived all my grownup existence in Maryland (Baltimore-Washington field). I've stated "gambling hooky," "chopping tuition," and once in a while "skipping tuition" in connection with basic and prime tuition and "chopping magnificence" in connection with school. I have not spotted any change in using those expressions among the 2 locations in which I've lived. I've additionally heard men and women within the Baltimore field, quite often African Americans, say "hook tuition."
