you'd make an awesome librarian! especially in a junior high or high school.

it does take a masters, so you would be in school for a minute...good luck!

it pays well too!

From your description of your likes, dislikes, and interests, (which is very introspective and honest-sounding!) I think you would make a wonderful medical transcriptionist.

A medical transcriptionist (MT) often works alone, at home, or in a small office setting. He/she helps others immeasurably, by ensuring that they receive the highest quality of medical care via accurate transcription of medical records/information.

A good vocational college can give you all the tools you need to become successful within 1 to 2 years. You may also learn these skills as an apprentice. Keep in mind, of course, that an MT never stops learning...there is always a new procedure, technique, or medicine to learn!

If you truly love science, want to help others, don't mind having to continually learn new things, and would like to make a decent living in what is sure to be a "growing" industry, then I would recommend that you look into becoming an MT.

Good luck!
