Not sure if this applies to you but in some Native American traditions this is how rabbit medicine works. The idea is that rabbit calls out to the things that it fears until those fears come for it. The idea is that "what you resist will persist."

I vaguely recall that it has something to do with dealing with your fears and transmuting them but I haven't delved too far into this are to be able to tell you. There are a few books about personal totems or animal spirits that might help you.

I must be on crack lol..... I hope that this in some way helps you,

Regards,

Perhaps some people spend more time thinking about things that can go wrong than other people do, and when something we've considered does go wrong, the legitimacy of the anticipation seems justified.

I'm certainly not accusing you of doing anything wrong. I phrased the above as I did because it seems reasonable that if everyone worried all the time about everything that could go wrong, words like "smile," "happy," and "peace" would eventually become archaic and only the most comprehensive dictionaries would include them, but some people do seem happy, some people laugh a lot, and some people smile often. Perhaps some of us tend to be more anxious than others simply as a matter of inherited individual differences or conditioning.

I'm sorry not to post anything about anxiety reduction or stress management, but I'm not sure I can truly say that I feel qualified to do so. You might want to talk to a counselor, and while there are probably at least a few good self-help books, many of them are not helpful because they speak in ambiguous terms, do not provide precise instructions for changing behavior, or are not grounded in science. Some use just enough mainstream psychology to make the author sound competent, but that's about all.

Best of luck to you.

You are setting yourself up for failure instead of success... Avoiding situations does not solve them, ever.

Make educated decisions and calculated risks. Be prepared for the worst to happen EVERY time, but expect the best EVERY time. You will be caught off guard less often, and prepared when something bad does happen. You will also be more satisfied in the end!

"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he" Think about what you want instead of what you don't want. The more you concentrate on what you do want, the more you will start moving in that direction.

Because what ever you think about you draw to yourself.
Read the book, "THE SECRET" It will explain all of that.
Think about what you want, not what you do not want.
