Hi There,
My teenage son just acquired a 1-2 person Sabot sailboat.
Its about 8 feet long, and was in awesome shape, simply
needs some new ropes, and a paint job. We live very near
a bunch of good size lakes so his intentions are to get it
out on to most of those regularily. We got it for FREE!! so it was really hard to resist *wink*, and my son intends on calling it The Jewel of the Lake (after his dog Jewel).
I do hope he uses it alot, as sailing is in his blood (my parents owned a 21' sailboat for years and used it tons!)

Hope this answers some of your questions, oh also my son has great ambitions to join the fairly local Sailboat Co-op,where for $375 a year you have acsess to a boat for at least 300 hours. Cool hey!! neat way not to have to pay the big bucks for your own boat and then not use it.

Nope but my girl next door does and it's just like it's mine!
I have the pool she has the boat and we share. We take it out
every other week in the summer.

I will buy one when I can pay cash for it. I love very fast boats.

Yeah, but not a big one. It's a 16 ft fishing boat. It's pretty nice tho. It's a Starcraft with a 50hp Johnson on it. No name on it. I picked it up at an estate sale for $2500.00. And I use it....well use to use it several times a week. Since YA came along, it's gettin' a bit lonely out there by itself.

I bought one when I broke up with my ex. Named her, "Floating Consolation". Juicy Kitten sounds like the name of a boat owned by a guy who runs an Oriental restaurant. In that case, his mother gave him the name and the cooking instructions! Jay
