Circumference Circle: 2*pi*r
Area Circle: pi*r^2

Divide your circumference by 2 and then divide that answer by pi (3.14). You will be left with what the radius equals. Then plug the radius into your area formula. Square it and multiply it by pi.
Hope this helps.

If the circumference is given, it is easy to find the diameter. Circumference is equal to the multiplication of 3.14 and the diameter, So to find the diameter you have to divide the circumference to 3.14. After all this steps you will find the diameter. Then the formula for Area of a circule is the multiplication of 3.14 and radius square. to find the radius you will use the diameter formula that is diameter is equal to 2times the radius, so it is easy to find the radius by dividing the diameter by two you will get the radius. Then to find the Area of the circule multiply 3.14 by the radius square.

A little algebra saves a lot of arithmetic:

C = 2πr
C/(2π) = r

A = πr²
A = π[C/(2π)]²
A = C²/(4π)

so just square the given circumference and divide by 4π (≈12.57)
