When I was 18 or so, I signed on at a temp agency. They sent me out to a construction site, where the crew were all from South Carolina (I think). Well, I was about 6'3" and weighed all of about 160 lbs (think stick figure), so I guess they thought it would be fun to pair me up with a *giant* of a good ole boy. Our job? Empty a trailer full of 25 foot I-beams, two at a time, and stack 'em up on pallets. After a half hour or so I has lost all feeling in my arms and shoulders. The big dude was a good guy, he kept asking if I wanted to take a break, but I was young and stubborn, so I kept at it. When lunchtime (finally) rolled around, I limped to my car and drove home. Never got paid, I felt like too big a wimp to go back, lol. My arms shook like I had palsy for days afterward. I should have stuck with it, I would have gotten pretty buff, I suppose.
Sorry for the long story, I just hadn't thought of that day in a long time. By the way, don't listen to that jerk...your photo is very attractive, whether it's really you or not. :)

actually three. i worked briefly in a fast food restaurant as a janitor. i hated it and the people were rude. that why it was brief. i was in a bakery. that was even worse. i did those jobs in 2004. last year i worked as a stock clerk at a furniture and appliances store, but when then porters did not show up for work, i had to do their jobs as well as mine and it was really hard. i am very strong, but i hated it. when i couldn't take it anymore, i left and got something much better.
i like the job i have now.

I have had a few.
I worked in a lighting factory.
I worked cleaning bait hulls on fishing vessels.
Oh, the worst was a waitress at a diner. Lost that job, something about a man, buttered toast and his hand.

I worked in a factory for a few weeks during a summer, and it was unbearable. I have deep respect for people who work in factories. I grew up on a farm and factory work is much harder.

Working for the camera store was pretty bad... had to mix photo chemicals and they didn't provide gloves, so I got a few chemical burns.
