One of my grandfathers was talking to me about this subject. He says that another reason to vote for the Republicans is because the Democrats will bring Affirmative Action back. Since I had never heard of this political doctrine before (my grandparents are always surprising me with things that I don't know about lol lol) he said that it is a form of racism directed against White people making it difficult for them to get a job or attending a college or university. My grandpa said that when he returned from the Vietnam War and married my Grandma he had to struggle for many years at low paying jobs because of racism against Whites. He also said that being a Vietnam Veteran did not help in his quest for a better life for him and my grandma and their two sons (One son grew up to marry and have a pretty daughter. I bet you can guess who she might be.) So, do you agree that the Democrats will bring back Affirmative Action?

No, no, no no no. Racism is just inhibiting equality. Race Doesn't Matter. Affirmative action was meant to help people of non-Caucasian descent find employent and whatnot, it wasn't meant to be racism against white people, but that's the way it turned out. A large percentage of the people who fell under the title of "minority" by this doctrine absolutely did not like it because they felt it was making them superior rather than equal (Women were included in this, did he tell you that?). Anyway, to answer your question, It was never un-implemented. It still exists, but is maybe ignored.

look at what the democrats are trying to do now in congress
raise taxes on those familes making 57,000 or more a year
funny i thought the democrats only wanted to raise taxes on the rich , 57,000 a year for a family of 4 is far from being rich

i believe that affirmative action has been around for a lot of years, already. so it really doesn't matter if it's a democrat or a republican president.

yep!! get in line! cant do it by brains so they do it by political manipulation! they percieve it is all about some unknown reason? instead of working hard and making things happen!!plus Sharpton and Jackson would not be able to fleece the tribe.
