A couple of smelly boy tips:
1. He's got to get rid of any dirty laundry - make sure it is in a hamper or laundry basket and out of his room every day if possible.
2. He need to change his sheets at least every week.
3. No food should end up in his room, and if food or dirty dishes are in his room, they need to be removed the next day for sure.
4. Plenty of circulating air will help. Leave a window cracked open, if possible, for fresh air.
5. He needs to practice good hygiene! Regular showers, brushing his teeth, etc. will help.
Good luck!

If it is his sneakers then put them in a small plastic bag, if it is his carpet then help him to clean it or take it up. If it is his dirty clothe then cover them tightly but wash them after three days. Look under his bed for spoiled food etc. If he has poor hygiene then talk to your parents about this problem and direct their attention to his room. Put a deodorizer In his room. Now that it is warm, prop open his windows and allow his room to air out. He is only eight but now is the time for him to be trained. He is a male and he don't have that built in desire to clean. He has to be encouraged to clean body and room. Your parents are more responsible for this condition then he is. Bring this to their attention.

Figure out where the smell is coming from and either wash it, or get rid of it. Just make sure everything is washed and cleaned. The smell could be coming from dirty laundry. Good luck!
DO NOT USE FEBREEZE OR ANY KIND OF AIR FRESHENER! IT DOES NOT WORK!

Boys are very hard to get threw to. I have a 21 year old and a 19 year old and believe me if I didnt clean it it wouldnt get cleaned.

Talk to your parent/guardian/family about this. Your brother's only eight, so you can only hold him responsible up to a point. Together, you, your parent(s) and your brother can find a solution to the problem.

Sounds like a good place for a stick up! Seriously, plugs-ins work well.
