Well... yes and no.
There is a branch of science that is involved with freezing people and trying to thaw them out in such a way that they actually get to keep living. This field is called 'cryonics'. Right now, it is not exactly a thriving one.
The reason is because of ice. You may have already noticed that if you put food in the freezer and thaw it out again, it often tastes different... particularly meat. This is because as it freezes, pointy ice crystals form inside cells and tend to shred them. Which is a great way to turn a living cell into a dead one, even if the temperature doesn't kill it.
Right now for most creatures we don't really have a way of fixing this. Still, that doesn't stop very hopeful people from trying anyway. They volunteer for the procedure, and once they are declared legally dead (hopefully within seconds) their blood is sucked out and replaced with another fluid (one less prone to crystallization) and their bodies are sunk into tanks of liquid nitrogen.
There are some people who go further than that. If you freeze water in your freezer, you'll note it freezes on the outside first while the inside remains liquid... at least for a while. So it goes too with a human body. Which may be a big problem for cryonics. One possible solution is to freeze less. Just your head, for example. So some people have their heads removed and just that frozen.
They know that ice is probably turning much of their tissues to mulch. But they hope that some future society will develop the technology to fix that. And whatever killed them in the first place. And attach their heads to new bodies. And is interested in thawing people from the past instead of just leaving them be. A lot to hope for. Perhaps too much.

Yes. That is the plan. The only problem is that today's medical advances haven't gotten far enough ahead to be able to bring back those that have been frozen--yet. Freezing causes cellular damage on a large scale. So until they can reverse this damage, thawing and reviving somebody will just be a death sentence.

Chances of getting Thawed and getting another chance to Walk is Doubtful - Not even with Global Warming.

there are frozen people, but if thawed, they will be likely dead anyways, as ice crystals would have destroyed every single cell in their body.

Yes, there are people that have been cryognically frozen. Look up cryogenics online.

You do not go to hell for what you do, you go to hell for what you do not do. The Bible says you must be born again. The monk denied Jesus. God's Holy Spirit convicted him of sin and proved the scriptures. He searched for another way and would not accept the way that God said. His pride is what kept him from Jesus. There is only one God that has sent fire from heaven. Choose this day whom you will serve.
