Squares don't have volumes they have areas. Cubes have volume.

Take the radius of your holes, which should be 16(your width) divided by your # of holes to find diamiter and by 1/2 for your radius. So here your r=16/(2*2)=4. Now take your total volume of the square (16^3) minus the volume of your 6 holes (all the way through the solid right?). The six holes would have a volume of 6 times (2*Pi*r^2*your height (16)). Thus those cilinders would each have a volume of 2*Pi*(4^2)(16). Now the total volume of the cilinders is 6*2*Pi*(16)(16), now take this minus the total volume of your cube. Cube volume -- Holes volume. If you need the way to do this with calculuse then email me.

1. Find the area of the holes. You can do this by using this formula: pi x radius squared.
2. Multiply this answer by six.
3. Find the area of the square. 16 x 16 = 256
4. Subtract the total area of the holes from 256.

NOTE: make sure you know the dimensions of the holes too

Find the area of the square and the area of 1 circle. Multiply the circle area by 6 and subtract from the square's.

Assuming height is also 16:

16³ - 96 * PI * R²

Where R is the radius of each hole.

If it is 3D then the holes don't matter. If you find the are you have to find the area of the square then find the are of one circel times that by 2 and then subtract it from the area of the square.

There won't be any volume, it all leaked out through the holes.
