ballerinas are supposed to have long necks right?
about what is the best range in inches for a ballerina neck?

You can't have a neck that's too long. The longer the better. If you're a swan you get automatically promoted. Just kidding. Love your body as it is, and work with what you have. I've seen soloists with all sorts of neck length, they seem to be doing fine.

It really doesn't matter what the 'ideal' is, does it? You're not going to be able to be something you're not. Just keep your shoulders down and lengthen your back right up to the crown of your head. Practise this regularly and it will become a habit. You'll achieve a very graceful look with the gifts you've been given. Good luck to you.
