no!!!! drugs harm your body and mind. i don't think there's a simple way to understanding life, i think you just need to go through it and deal with everything to find the true meaning and understanding of life. drugs are extremely harmful to your body and they can decrease the amount of years of life you have. don't do drugs my ex bf started to sell them, so i broke up with him and he's was sent to juvie for a while.

Drugs are bad, I went to rehab for yayo and pills and havn't done either in over 3 years, and frankly I would advise people to STAY AWAY FROM THAT SHIIT. Quitting coke was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. Still smoke weed on the reg tho, and eat acid every once in a while....but the real hard stuff I do not reccommend @Latj- Marijuana is not a gateway drug. You could prove this by taking away all other outside stimuli that could affect the thoughts and decisions of the "weed smoker." If I never left my house, and you brought me marijuana every day to smoke, there is no better chance that I would move on to hard drugs than if I had not smoked weed at all. The reason that smoking marijuana can lead to other drugs is because of the process of getting the drugs and the people who you are around you while using them. Chances are someone you would smoke the weed with has already tried some sort of harder drug, or the dealer you buy the weed from has access to harder drugs. And because the people who already smoke weed have done a "drug" then they are more likely to say yes to something else more than someone who has never done a drug because they think it is morally wrong for one reason or another. It's not the weed that leads to other drugs, it is the environment that most weed smokers enter to either smoke the weed or purchase the weed that can lead to other drugs.

Maybe it's the best way to understand the life of an inmate or a rehab patient.
Don't let your "friends" talk you into ruining your possibilities. If you havn't started using drugs...DON'T, it's that simple.

Your friend has a very distorted way of defining the understanding of life.
Drugs will only screw you over
my advice is to ignore your friend and leave the drugs alone

Plain and simple........your friend is a lost idiot.
If he or she thinks that something as superficial and weak as drugs will take away a problem, their in for a rude awakening!
Drugs will only add to your friends list of problems, and ultimately make his problems worse.

well, i think drugs do give you a different perspective than you would normally have, but it's just the drugs effect so most of your feelings while on them are not real or seriously dramatized. also after you do drugs you tend to feel depressed after you've come down, which sucks, don't do that
