What would you say? Granted, the order was for a plain cheeseburger, but wouldn't they assume you still wanted the meat???

That happened to my friend today while she was ordering her dog a cheeseburger happy meal at McDonalds.

I think the guy on the other end of that microphone was a total idiot.
Yeah, freaking morons. I hate this country.
I actually asked for a cheeseburger with cheese only.

of course the meat and the cheese are a given on a cheeseburger. Did this really happen to you? What would I say? Give me a hamburger with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and a slice of cheese please. If that didn't work I would leave and find another fast food joint. That was a complicated question. Took all of my brain power and I had to stare at the question for a while.

My sarcasm would come roaring to the surface. Something along the lines of "It is a BURGER. BURGER implies MEAT. Therefor I WANT MEAT on the Cheese BURGER". Mind you, talking to them like they are dumber than a box of rocks really hits the point home.

I would look at them like they were crazy lol. But I did one time have a girl at Dairy Queen ask me something similar. I asked for 2 vanilla ice cream cones, and she said do you want it on a cone? True story, I died laughing when I left.

I would HOPE so....and I would not pay for it -- let alone eat it -
WITHOUT the meat..and don't forget the bacon either, please!
You can leave off the tomatoes if you want. Never eat them...
except as KETCHUP, of course.... =)

I would say "R u serious?" and then I would say "well now I know why ur working at Macdonald's, ur too stupid to get a job anywhere else!, geez ur not even smart enough to work at a friggin fast food place."
And then I would eat my cheeseburger! :)
