First, these are from personal experience. My friends are lawyers, I started as an Accountant and I am now a Project Manager.
Lawyers can make that with a law degree. I would say this might be the avenue to make the most the soonest. You'd want a law degree.
Management Consultants and Accountants can work their way up to a Partner in Consulting or Accounting firms and can make that kind of money. You'd want a management, business, or accounting degree.
As far as a job where an employer would pay you that kind of money (versus the jobs, above, where you would be part of a partnership), Project Management, especially in the area of Information Technology and/or outsourcing management can pay that much, although not at first. You would want a masters or doctorate in business or IT.

Top notch lawyer, architect, engineer, salesman (in all sorts of fields, from medical to tech stuff). None of these are easy and all require some sort of degree, plus internship or company training.

My daddy's a lawyer and he makes about $250,000 a year. You need a bachelor's and juris doctorate. Internships aren't neccessary.
