One of the saddest songs I have heard is by Martina McBride and it is called Concrete Angel. It's about a young girl who is abused by her mother and dies. It's so sad. Just curious to see what your sad songs are. Thanks.

hurt - johnny cash cover of a nine inch nails song. the imagery in the video is great, a gold record in a cracked frame on the floor, the closed johnny cash museum on a cloudy day, the line "you could have it all, my empire of dirt" while he's sitting at a dinner table loaded with lobster, caviar and other expensive food, and pouring wine over everything.

Tears in Heaven--Clapton. The image he's painting is basically him right in the thick of him mourning the untimely death of his son. Not too many people out there put emotion into music like Clapton.

i like rap not country, but the few songs i do cry to in rap are all Eminem. There are only four or five but the two worst ones are "No Apologies" by: Eminem and "When I'm Gone" by: Eminem.
