Cumulonimbus Incus is the correct term for the clouds that are large thunderstorms and produce tornadoes. These clouds are preceded by Cumulonimbus Calvus clouds which are smaller rain showers or thunderstorms, but generally don't produce tornadoes. Preceding Cumulonimbus Calvus clouds are Cumulus Congestus clouds which are not yet precipitating but are growing vertically and should soon become Cumulonimbus Calvus clouds.

You've got thunderheads and cumulonimbus or CB for short. Those are really the only two names they go by.
