invaded Tomarrow and called on an all out Jihad on our land.. And they wanted to fight us in a combat style battle, car bombs and all. How would you defend yourselves? Would you all gather and protest them in the streets or would you attack them with your enlightened words? I would stand up and fight for my country on my soil. Theres a big difference in defending the United States and defending Iraq. That is their country let them fight for themselves just like we would defend ourselves if need be. I think if that ever happened it wouldnt be a Liberal thing or a Conservative thing...that would be an American thing. I have a whole gun cabinet full of rifle's and shotgun's and wouldnt hesitate to use them. I am Liberal and I have been hunting since I was old enough to carry a shotgun. The only gun control I am for is assult weapon's. There's no need for assult weapon's on the street's.

You know not of which you speak. First off, it they "invaded" and basically were conducting terrorism, you'd only need your weapon if you saw somebody doing something obvious. They would hide like rats and simply conduct attacks. They wouldn't fight a "stand-up" military fight-- they're sneaky like that.
If it were an army invading the US, the military could take care of them and surely some citizens would join the fight. They would be "partisans" I suppose. But an armed citizenry would not be necessary.
The Jihadi you note, cannot possibly attack in numbers that would even be a threat-- our national guard, police and others would crush them into paste.
You seem to forget that the US is a stable gov and such an insurgency, attack, whatever has little chance of happening or even being a major threat to our way of life.
And really, the 2nd amendment is as much about the citizenry being able to keep our gov in check as much as it is about protecting the "homeland".
And contrary to your dumb stereotype-- many of us Dems (I'm not really a lib) support the 2nd amendment and the right of citizens to own arms.

clearly not from questions like these... read the 9-11 report... then look into the facts behind the groups...
but, to answer your question, which is basically impossible based on the logisics of terrorists and what they want to do...

I requested what percentage (in numbers, %, or share) of individuals are terrorists. the most person-pleasant answer I were given replaced into "libs" and "all dems" and similar solutions. there is an truly vocal, and frighteningly diverse, phase of the inhabitants that really trust that maximum individual individuals are terrorists who hate u . s . a .. Why there are not dozens of terrorist assaults the following daily, they don't clarify.

Baby, this liberal is a firm believer in the 2nd amendment. I'm also pretty pissed off that Bush left the borders open for anyone to just walk into my country. I think that the terrorist would have chosen to do that before they chose to swim the Atlantic and attack us.

I would bare arms, as my rights say I can (for now... yes, we're going to lose that, too.) Which is what Iraqi's have done. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.
