My mom needs to kick my 24 yr old brother out and don't know how to go about doing it because she verbally tells him to leave and he tells her he dont have to so how could she get him out legally and its in grove city ohio she has tried calling the local police there but they are no help either

Unless she leased him a room and accepted $$$ ,
She just has to put his stuff in bags on the porch and change the locks .
If her name is on the lease / deed , it is hers
And he DOES have to .
Get the locks changed and secure the windows because he will try to go in that way .
Any forced entry , call the police because that is illegal .
But after letting him slack for so long , he will be hostile about facing reality , BE PREPARED !

You need to get an eviction notice and serve it with a 30 day notice. Then if he doesn't leave you can call police and they will make him go.

If it's her house/apartment, and his name is not on any of the mortgage/rental documents she doesn't need to go to court. Just call the police. They will force him to leave.
Make sure she changes the locks.

If he is not paying rent he is not a tenant he is a guest and guests can be asked to leave.
If he refuses - call the cops.

Go to court and file to have him evicted...you can always claim he refused to pay rent which is true and he can't prove he paid any rent.

Did you just miss my answer or something. Look whatever you do say make sure that through the history of your relationship that it is believeable and youre not just trying to shut him up so you can get him out without incident. The important thing is to be fair. Try giving him ohh I dunno 50 thousand dollars.
