There are few sounds I hate more. For perhaps this reason, I don't even have a landline phone at home and always keep my cell phone on vibrate.
I deal enough with ringing phones at work, I want nothing of the sort at home.

If its constantly ringing non stop yes, but my phone hardly rings thank god, and when it does I look to see who it is and if I don't want to talk to that person I let it ring.

On Mondays and Tuesdays, I do. I get about 40 faxes a day on those two; maybe 10 or 12 other days, so it's not so bad.

Mine doesn't ring.. It hollers out the pH# & I just listen to see who it is...
