I suggested a pillow fight with 8 of my “daughter’s friends” who were over for a Birthday slumber-party. I drank WAY too much wine. I didn’t realize how hard I was hitting them until today, when I viewed the home video tape.

The girls were flying off the bed hitting their heads, flying into one another, they were just flying everywhere. When they fell off the bed and were on the floor, I was still hitting them with the pillow. I was really into it.

I thought they were laughing - then when you see me leaving the room they were all crying and wanting to go home and they were all complaining of being hurt.

What should I do? Should I call the parents first before they call me? I've already received one phone call but, I didn't answer.

This was a repost because I forgot to ask my question in my original post. I was still hung over...

I was so into it - I was having such a good time but, in the video you can see me grit my teath while the pillow was swinging all around!

I think if it happened a while back then I'd just forget about if the parents never called. Just try to not have any more pillow fights when your drunk:)

If you really did do this my suggestion would be...Don't make a big deal about it.....if they didn't run to their mom/dads yet then let it go....you can always buy ice cream and mention to the girls, "hey remember that pillow fight gosh I was a bit rough, sorry I didn't mean to be...." and let it go. Chances are that if you make a big deal about it and the parents find out that 1. you were drinking and 2. you were abusive then the chances are very great that the girls parents would not allow the girls to visit your home again or hang out with your daughter and will alienate her from future parties and school functions....let it go with an apology.

Exactly how old were these kids? If I were you, I'd be setting my stuff in the house straight for an extended absence, and waiting quietly for the police. People don't let stuff like that lay any longer. If you think you might be able to apologize for it, for instance, if the kids were older, or bigger, then by all means, call and try to smooth things over.

Please let this be a joke.....

You've traumatized them for life and turned your child into a social pariah...moving is the best choice.

geez.....why were you drunk when you're suppose to be watching kids?? You'd be lucky if they don't press charges against you.

I hope you're kidding.....seriously
