Your surgeon will discuss all of this with you during your consultation. I am having a breast reduction in exactly 1 weeks time -- YAY!! I am a 34G ( nearly a double G so I understand your back pain ) and I have told him that I want to be anywhere between a 34D to a 34DD, he is fine with that. Most surgeons will prefer not to take away too much breast as they can't put it back but if they don't take enough then they can always do a follow up surgery.
My surgeon also told me that he will be drawing lines etc over my breasts for about 30 minutes until both he and I are satisfied with what the final positioning and size of my nipple and breasts will be.

You will not know the exact size of your breasts until a couple of months after your surgery when you can be fitted for a bra.

Good luck :)

I was a 38J and the plastic surgeon the day of my surgery asked what size I would like to be, and that he could try to get me to a C cup but wanted to know if I wanted a full C or average.

Most PS's will try to accommodate for what size you would like to be BUT they do not know if they will be able to do it until they open up your breast to remove the tissue. If they take too much out they will risk the health of the breast.

Your final size could take up to a year to get to.

Good luck!

Usually the doctor will reduce them to a size that will not give you discomfort but will still be in proportion to your body. Talk to your doctor about having this done. You will get all this info then and maybe even stuff that you haven't thought about.

Good Luck :)

Don't cut them. Work out. try that first. Do back exercises. Anything but cutting those great H cups.
