Yes, father and sister in law. You take it one day at a time and the first everything you do or celebrate without that person hurts. You learn to adjust without them but will always miss them and feel lost without them by your side. Then you sit back think of a good time and smile.

I just lost my mother 0n 3-5-07 and I feel I handled it quite well. My 4 sisters and 1 brother had to make the decision to shut off life support and I was the only 1 who could say it and make the Dr listen and be strong enough to let him know we meant it. I am a strong person and I was there for all of my family and for myself and my son and my son was there for me and he only 14 and what a head he has of intelligence he has on his shoulders. I needed him and he was there for me, I am fine now and my family is all getting along and things are getting taken care of, but it's never easy losing a loved one! I also lost my dad in 1996 in my arms, and I have lost all of my grandparents.

I'm assuming by "lost" you're saying they died? If so, two fiances, and a kitten I bottle fed and loved for four years. I cried, I hated the world, and for the kitten, I took a week off work to get over it. He was special. The guys were just guys in the end, though it took me a LONG time to get over the last one. I still cry about the kitten.

Yes My dad. It took a real long time and there are days that I still can't get over the fact he is gone. I remember looking at people thinking that they have lost their father....and they are alive...so I know I will live on and get pass this but I was't sure how....only time heals those deep hurts!

My great grandmother died when I was 14 and I was very very close with her. I didn't real deal with it because I was young and didn't want to let go..however now at 20 I understand she's gone but the memories and pictures will last forever. also all the things she taught with me are things I'll never forget.
