Interracial dating...is is just me or is it unbalanced?

Where I live (Dallas Texas) I can leave my house and go ANYWHERE and see black men with women of another race. But I hardly see it the other way around. Why is it that black men have no problem being seen publicly worshipping sisters of other races, but a white man acts like he needs to sneak a look at me ( a black chick) in private?!!? It's not interracial dating I have an issue with, but i think some reasons are off. If it was pure love playing a part in this, it would be more equal, but it seems like black men are purposely rejecting us black women. I do declare! Sort of like the white man/asian woman thing. It could make one feel inadequate...

I'm totally generalizing here, but it seems like most men want the most stereotypically subservient woman. And, like you said with the white man / asian woman thing, the order of subserviant women goes (from most to less subserviant).

1. Asians / Arabic
2. White
3. Black

Please don't blaze me, I know this is very stereotypical. It's the only answer I can think of in response to your question.

@Babs what the hell are you talking about???? Im black and see black couples all the time and most of these interracial couples are the ones that's failing. When i went to apply for homeschooling all you saw were white and biracial children without alot of their parents. Every time you hear about interracial couples theres always some cheating or domestic violence involved. And the part were your talking about natural hair um yeah i and alot of black women can wear are hair however we want. If black women want to straighten their hair than that's fine, just like if white women want to curl their hair that wouldn't be their Natural hair right??? So you see people can do what ever they want. To me natural hair is anything that comes out of someones head. Ive seen loads of black women wear their own hair and have never been talked about by black men. @Asker interracial dating is unbalanced in america because the white media wants it to be that way. Their doing it to prove that the opposite of the race can do much better but alot of these couples are failing.

you should not feel that way. some black men go that rout because black women are opinionated and wont take much s**t, a white women is a little more accepting and will put up with more. its takes a Strong black man to work it out with a strong black women.

One thing to consider, and as was said above this is stereotypical/generalizing to some degree... I'm a Christian and I saved myself for my wife. I naturally wanted a woman who also saved herself for me. The older I got, the harder it was to find black or white women anywhere close to my age who were still virgins. I ended up marrying a latina (and yes, she was both close to my age and a virgin).

Maybe that's not a typical concern for the black men in question, but it was reality for me.

ok, since we are being judgmental, .....I guess I will do the same(and this is not directed to you) but why are most of the white women black guys date either overweight or they try to "act black" themselves. Just one little observation.....



And I have also seen many black women with white men (i'm in new york)

I hear you. In my opinion, white men can't handle sisters, and the only reason black men want white women is because they are domicile, and will do anything a black man say. I personally don't want anything but a brotha, cause there is absolutely NOTHING better!!

because he's putting one over on the man. on the other hand you just sound jealous. why don't we try to find someone we like as for who they are. not what the skin color is. sound familiar?
