Am I the only one that feels like this about abortion?

Their are thousands of children dying because of unresponsible mothers that spread their legs and conceive a child then decide that they are not ready for it and have an abortion.Then we have these people that support this...I am sorry but I think that if you were not raped you should not have an abortion.Women need to stop having sex if they do not want to have a baby!!! Its getting to a point were these women are having not only 1 abortion but 3 and in cases even more.People giving your child up for adoption is a CHOICE!!!Abortion is murder I repeat "MURDER"!!! This needs to be stoped now.There are so many families that cant have childeren and I am sure that they would love to adopt these babies.I am 100% against abortion!!!

Well I did take action thats why I am pregnant and abortion never went thru my head.I am 7 months pregnant and have many medical problems because of it but I love my baby more than anything in this world.

I am not judging anyone like I said dont have sex if you cant support a baby!!!

And what about all the women that are dying because of abortions as well????

wow, thank you! i 1000% agree! it makes me so D#@% angry when I hear about abortion. I tried telling people on here who are considering abortion or have had one... how its murder and they are "MURDERERS!" and no innocent baby deserves much a thing. They did nothing wrong. Gosh I could just go on and on. Then they turned me into the yahoo answers people and i got a email saying I shouldnt say such mean things to people on here. "murderers". No it is not murder. Keep the child and letting it suffer because the "mother" is 14 and people like you were saying "keep it, keep it, abortion is murder" Now look at where the child is. probably has no father, no future, has a grandma that's probably a prostitute couldn't control her own daughter...hence the teenage pregnancy. The child will be a loser, homeless, have drug problems, and end up like her mother. Then there's the "ohhh you can always give them up for adoption" how about allllllllllllllll those poor kids left in those homes that never get adopted, or the government doesn't even have enough money to keep all those kids there. Thirdly, why should a child be born into the world where they were really unwanted, were an accident, and are better off not being born at all. NOThing is positive in this matter. All those families that can't have children, there are soooo many babies that are waiting to be adopted allll over the world not just in america. Honestly, be realistic...that's just sad. That child will suffer more being born then it being aborted when it's a fetus. REALITY CHECK PEOPLE. Come on. Think of the teenage girl why should she have a baby, when she's stupid enough to have sex at the age of 12-13?HUH?is that logical to you?NO. Not to me either. You can't control them being sl*ts, why in the world would you want them to have kids?They already have no future

No. If women get raped they should be aloud to get an abortion. Would you really want to give birth to your rapist's baby? I would probably end up killing it then because I could not stand looking at it. And it is not murder cause the thing wasn't even born yet so it technically was not alive. Sure, adoption is a choice, but I wouldn't want to be stuck with something inside of me for nine months before I could give it away. I do agree however that women should stop having sex if they don't want to have a baby. It's the only way to prevent unwanted pregnancy as well as the spread of STDs. But I also feel that if a woman gets pregnant, if she planned on it or not, and her life is in danger because of complications from this, she should be aloud to get and abortion in order to save her life.

There are MILLIONS of children in the world who are suffering and dying because their mother's were irresponsible and kept the pregnancy. Having children when you cannot care for them, despite the availability of adoption or not, IS irresponsible. And whether I am the only one who feels that way or not does not make it any less true.

Further, adoption is not an option for hundreds of thousands of women who end up obtaining an abortion. They would have a special needs or mixed ethnicity child and despite your overactive imagination, there are NOT enough couples willing to adopt just any child. The adoption industry and couples looking to adopt have very specific requirements on which child will be bestowed with their love. Those requirements in most all of the cases are WHITE, HEALTHY, and below the age of two. There are not enough couples willing to adopt nonwhite, unhealthy, or special needs children ANYWHERE in the world and if a Woman knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that her child will be one, she may feel that the merciful option is to end the pregnancy before that child can feel the pain and humiliation of rejection based on its race or health status.

An abortion saved my life so you can take your self-righteous condemnation of it and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. I would have died without an abortion therefore to say you are "100% against abortion" is to say that you would rather see me dead right now instead of having the abortion.

There are literally hundreds of thousands of children waiting for adoption. They get left in the system unwanted and unloved because they either have special needs, are racially mixed, or are unfortunately older than most adoptive parents are looking for. Adoptive parents don't want just any child to love, they want a specific child and to get a child that meets their expectations thousands more in need of good homes go without, are neglected, are ignored, are abused. THIS situation is what should be avoided at all costs.

Personally, I hate the thought that government or anyone else can determine what I can and cannot do with my body. I believe that a woman has the right to choose. That being said, I do not agree with abortion being used as a method of birth control. I would not be able to bring myself to have an abortion if I accidently became pregnant. If being pregnant in some way may be fatal to the mother, or if a woman had been raped, I can certainly understand their reasoning for terminating a pregnancy. If a woman decides that she wants to have sex, fine, but birth control should be used, and if your really not ready to have a child, use both birth control & a condom that has a spermicidal lubricant.

abortion is a choice also. i know that you have to right to hate this action so obviously it is not the choice for you, but others this may be their only choice no matter what the situation is that got them there.

Only God has the right to judge another person's actions. If abortion is murder than God will judge that person accordingly.

as for how i feel about abortion - i had one and adoption was never going to be a choice, the father was very abusive and he made it a point to let me know that he would never give his child away, nor would he let us go.

So before you judge why someone does something that actually tears and leaves a hole in their soul like abortion does, try to remember that abortion is just more than taking the life of a fetus, it also takes tears the soul of the woman who has to lay on that table and have it done.

If your 100% against abortion than none should be considered appropriate, not even for rape, its not the fetus fault the father was nuts. Also if you believe that adoption is so wonderful, please tell me how many children have you adopted? how many of them have you taken off the streets and given a home too?

Its ok to express your feelings, but you should chose your words more carefully cause right now you are looking like a hypocrite.

AMEN- innocent babies are being killed so that couples can continue to have irresponsible sex. It comes down to this- people are selfish- they want the pleasure of sex without the responsiblity of the child if they become pregnant. Children are a gift not a choice- keep telling the truth. Even in a rape- it is a horrible thing to have to endure- but we should not punish the child for the sin of the father. Adoption is a great choice- if it was not for adoption I may not be here- I know that my 2 kids may not be either- our birth moms chose life!!!!!!!!!!!

The aboslute worse thing you can do is support the pro life movement if you value children and human life. Each time they "save" a fetus they cause the death of 12 loved and living children. If you have children and support the pro life movement, you are an irresponsible parent.
The only children that should be born are planned, loved and wanted children. To allow a child of a rapist to be born is to support rape. To bring a child into the world and not be able to care for it is torture for the child. To bring a child into the world and not be able to give it medical threatment is heinious. I don't believe in abortion for myself as a mother of four one of which has down syndrome. I knew that I had a chance of having a baby like that I have a sister with this and two cousins who died that had this. And my hubby has a sister with this. BUT I think that it should be legal. Watch if these walls could talk the one with Demi Moore dying on a table.

By the way my doctor told me my chance was less because I was 23 at the time.

I do understand what you are saying but I don't necessarily agree. I think that it really depends on circumstances. For example these things do not always happen down to irresponsibility and I'm sure that the decision isn't always taken lightly by the women concerned. Unfortunately, as you described there are some women who are irresponsible and use abortion as a form of birth control attending the clinic time and time again, and yes I agree that this is wrong. However, there are some circumstances that I feel that this is not a wrong thing. Its good that you feel so strongly about this, but with all due respect I feel that you are being a little ignorant about the reasons behind every abortion. I hope I don't offend you, but this is just my personal opinion. I do, however think that abortions shouldn't be so easily obtainable!!!

I don't think it is right to use abortion as birth control. However, I have spoken to women who have had abortions or who fully support abortion, and they had valid reasons. I am not judgemental. I don't think that we can be so general as to say that all women who get abortions are murderers. And to play devil's advocate, if you are 100% against abortion, and if you think it is murder, than why is it okay to get one if a woman is raped? I believe all women should have a choice. I personally wouldn't have an abortion because I am married, have a job, and am an adult. But, I don't know what I'd do if my circumstances were different.
