he emailed me and says he wants to return the phone and for me to refund him the money because it doesn't work right. The phone was almost new and worked fine. How do I know what he did to it since he has had it. On my auction I had no return policy description. Please help what do I do?

Someone waid it right, no returns means no returns. If you want to help him out, tell him to go to a wireless store and ask for help with fixing it. It isn't you problem. If you get bad feedback, you can email ebay and give them the details, they can take away the -1 feedback.

This is the chance you take when you don't specify a return policy. Tell him it was new and in good working order when you sent it to him; offer to send half of the money back and chalk it up to a learning experience.
