What is the % of fuel emissions of planes, trains, and automobiles? Also, how many average miles do people travel on each of these ways of transportation? Which way is more cost and time effective?

Cost & time effective are relative to the individual travelers needs .
Persons wishing to see the Rockies, will do it by train but
Someone needing to get to NYC from Vancouver by the next business day will fly .
It really depends on the purpose of the travel .
