We had broken up 2 years ago. Is it normal to still fell lost and useless after 2 years. If so, how do I get over all these mixed up feelings?

What are your symptoms of "lost" and "useless"? I would suggest finding someone you trust to talk about all your feelings and get them out in the open. That is the best way to heal and move on. 10 years is a long time in my book and it could take a few years to get over the loss and guilt associated with a break up.

Find someone to talk to about all of it - it will help as you will be dealing with your feelings instead of doing nothing and it will loosen some of the power the past is holding over you. It will be okay - hang in there.

2 years is a long time to pine over someone still, get off the pity pot and get on with your life. That part of your life is a closed chapter. Accept it and move on. Go out with your friends, meet new people enjoy life.

Actually, I sort of disagree with the "move on" sentiment- you can't until you dig through all that.

It's not for everyone, but ---wallow, full-tilt. Really bury yourself in it. Get good and drunk, get out all your old pictures, reminisce about all of the times, especially the good ones, listen to your old music.
Shove your own nose in it. Every chance you get.

After not too very long, you're sick of it, and happy to move on.

Again, not for everyone, but it's worked for me.

Sometimes you never get over them. You just keep going on.
