The "Heavy Chevy" was trim package RPO YF3 available on '71-'72 Chevelles. It was an appearance package that included the Super Sport's domed hood with tie down pins; special body stripes; Heavy Chevy decals on the hood, fenders, and deck lid; black accente grille and headlight bezels; and 14x6 Rally wheels without trim rings.

I remimber the "Heavy Chevy " 1/2 ton pick ups that were built a little stouter than the standard 1/2 but still used the 5 lug tires. They were 70 something models .

Yes it was 71-72 Chevy chevelle SS it was an appearance package and performance package and they are a very desirable collectors car, I watch one go for 210k on Beret Jackson auction but it was mint.

I can't vouch for the year but that sounds about the time frame for it. It was only made for a year or two. But it was a Chevelle as I recall.
