Harrah's for years has given away two free tickets to the Mac King show, for a new sign up to their "Total Rewards" slot club. >This may or may not still be done it's been a couple of years since I took a "newbie" to LV<

Most "funbooks" are only given to hotel guests. >When you check in they give you the funbook< The Orleans was mentioned, it's given out at check in.

One thing you can do is check the free Las Vegas magazines in your hotel room or pick some up from the hotel gift shop, they sometimes have coupons for funbooks, etc.

We go to LV 2-3 times a year for 2 weeks or more at a time and have for over 20 years.

On the Strip Caesars Palace, The Paris Hotel, Harrah's and the Rio (Off Strip) all share with their club card promotions. The card promotions tend to be a little more upscaled than other hotels and casinos. Caesars offers a save your points and christmas shop at the end of the year promotion. They also offer at least one promotion around "Coach" bags. (My favorite promotion). Most cases it's a weekend invite earn so many points get the bag for free kind of deal.

I'm not all that familiar with downtown club cards, but I do know that the California hotel and that particular family of hotels often do free night promotions for visitors.

Station Casinos (Off Strip) have a great comp for points club card. Earn points which elevate your membership levels and discounts, spend points on restaurants, spas and the hotel gift shop. I've bought hundreds of dollars worth of stuff at Green Valley Ranch off my club card.

Bellagio, Circus Circus, Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay,
MGM Grand, Monte Carlo, The Mirage and Treasure Island all share club cards that offer various promotions and privileges to any of these resorts. To include some of the best shows on the strip (O, Ka etc...), as well as 3 of the top golf courses in Vegas.

I choose my card based on what I enjoy doing most. I love the Paris Hotel and Caesars "Coach" promotions are a favorite of mine. I enjoy entertaining people in Vegas so I tend to also keep an active membership with the MGM group and Station's Green Valley Ranch is my favorite of all - Hanks Steak House on the House is worth my gaming time at the Ranch.

All these cards allow me on their list of invitations for parties and free rooms.
