it could be anything really.... but most definitely dealing with the coolant system.... make sure that u mix the coolant with water, cause in warmer climate the coolant is to thick and it wont dissipate the heat well.... also it could be the thermostat... it shuts when the car is cold to heat the coolant faster in the engine, if it doesn't open the coolant will not circulate and it will over heat... ALSO since winter has just passed a lot of cars get their heater cores clogged, and if that clogs ur gonna need to flush it..... that's all i can think of for now... i was a mechanic for 4 years, if u need more help with it, just YIM me, or email me and i will be more than happy to help... Probably the thermostat...it controls when the radiator hose opens and hence when it cools the engine
Its a cheap part and Auto Zone or one of those type stores will put it in (takes 1-2 minutes)

A leak in the cooling system is possible. The radiator, or the water pump is fried. Or a freeze plug could be missing or cracked.

you might need to get the radiator flushed and starta new or you might need a new radiator
