I bought a pair of shoes that have rubber soles like Keds. They're Skechers Something Else shoes and I can't seem to get these black marks off the sides with just water and paper towels. The colour is green and white but the rubber I want to clean is white. Any ideas?

I KNOW I posted this in the wrong section, thanks. It probably just switched when I pressed submit or something.

Try using a cleaning cream that is mildly abrasive - I use gumption (not sure where you're from) it works well using just a little on a nailbrush. then wipe clean with a damp rag
